Carnival

Hi everyone!  Last weekend was Carnival here in Spain.  Carnival is a celebration of the arrival of Spring. In every town across Spain there are elaborate parades, costumes and traditional foods.
I loved seeing and experiencing this colorful side of Spanish Culture.

Orientation

     Last weekend I had another orientation but this time it was also with the kids from Galicia who are going abroad next year! We had an amazing time. I am having so much fun in Spain and I love learning the language more and more everyday! Here are some pictures from last weekend!

Yesterday, I went to A Coruña and got to see my AFS friends! I had a lot of fun with them!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to everyone! We had Christmas dinner with our family last night and it was very fun! I hope everyone has an amazing day today!

Hello everyone! 

Sorry I have not been posting on my blog lately! I am learning a lot of Spanish here and I am having a really good time! School is hard, but all my teachers understand that I am having a hard time interpreting what they are saying because they speak so quickly. I am learning Spanish, but it is still frustrating because I don't understand everything yet. I just need to keep practicing!

 I have made a lot of friends here but the people I am closest with are the friends I made through AFS. We don't get to see each other that often but we always have fun together! It's really fun to meet all these people from around the world! Here is a picture from one of our orientations.
